Be a night-rider with TAG Heuer’s Night Vision Glasses

swl-tag-heuer-night-vision.jpg

Usually we wouldn’t make such a big deal of driving glasses.

But this fetching pair designed for 24 hour Le Mans drivers from TAG Heuer makes me want to go driving late into the night, even if I have nowhere to go.

No word on price, but I suspect twilight driving in these will cost a fair few bucks.

The Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt: An April Fool’s prank turned real

personal_soundtrack_tshirt2.jpg

Over at ThinkGeek they had the above T-Shirt advertised claiming it was the answer to all of life’s mundane problems. That being the often mundane nature of life.

It was hailed as the Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt. The piece of clothing that would enhance your life by adding music to it, thanks to a built-in speaker and remote control.

It was, of course a load of baloney. But due to popular demand it is being turned into a real product.

The T-Shirt works by playing pre-recorded sounds at the press of a button of the wearers choosing. So for example, if on a romantic date with your other half press the button which plays a romantic theme or jingle etc.

Although I wouldn’t be caught wearing one, gotta admit the design look’s pretty cool.Sound like your thing? Then get your name on the list, over here.

Sony to out Worlds smallest HD camcorder this May

sony-hdr-tg1.jpg

I’ve always got the impression that camcorders seem like a forgotten gadget. Of course loads of people use them, but as more and more people use their camera phones and conventional cameras to record video footage anyway is a dedicated camcorder worth it?

Sure it is.

As we become more accustomed to the HD revolution we won’t accept anything to be seen on our screens that is less than full HD. And as good as camera phones and conventional cameras are they are nowhere near that standard.

Out in less than two months is this dinky lil’ video capturer from Sony called the HDG-TG1 Handycam. It will retail for around $900 and features the following:

  • Records video in full 1080p HD
  • Audio records in 5.1 channel surround
  • Built in zoom microphone
  • Carl Zeiss  Vario -Tessar 10x zoom optical lens
  • Ability to capture 4 megapixel still images
  • Face detection technology
  • Titanium body
  • Memory Stick PRO Duo slot
  • 2.7″ touch panel LCD display

PS3 Dualshock controllers to ship next week…yay!

sony-dual-shock.jpg

The current console war has seen controllers mentioned more than any other one that preceded it. What with the Nintendo Wii’s motion sensing Wiimote and the PS3’s SixAxis, and how Sony allegedly “copied” Ninty by having motion sensing tech in their pad.

While the rumble function in the PS2 Dualshock controllers was good, I haven’t really missed it at all on the PS3.

Still, it will be good to have it back. It will be like welcoming an old friend. Except my friends don’t vibrate uncontrollably whenever I’m around them. At least I hope not.

can-wrap.jpg

Now, we don’t condone secretly getting drunk at the office, underage drinking, or fooling your parents into thinking you’re innocently sipping a can of soft drink when you’re in fact swilling away a can of beer.

But those are exactly the kind of things you might be able to get away with, courtesy of these Canouflage can wraps, that is until someone gets a whiff of your alcohol intoxicated breath.

They can be found here for $5.89. But we didn’t put you up to it.

Being a fan of watches Im always on the lookout for cool wrist adornments, but Im a little split over this one here. It’s one of the latest from fashion house-Diesel, who do make some neat timepieces.

The DZ7086 (catchy, eh?) features a dual color OLED display, technology normally used in mobile phones, and possibly in future televisions. It comes in a stainless steel casing, with plastic and has a leather strap.
