Bioshock: The Movie

There are only a handful of video games in my mind that would make for a stellar movie experience. Other than Shenmue, one of them is Bioshock. John Logan, Academy Award-nominated writer of Gladiator, The Aviator and Sweeney Todd, is in talks to do the screenplay. That’s some high caliber talent.

Obviously Take-Two and Universal are taking this film very seriously unlike Universal’s failed video game based film DOOM. Currently no release date was revealed. Bioshock 2 the video game is being released in 2009.
