Gearbox recently landed a deal with Double Fusion for in-game advertising. Now, people hate advertising and for years, decades, in fact – games have been devoid of internal advertising. Gamers want to keep it that way. So gamers asked, how could Gearbox be so cruel and allow in-game advertising to pervade their fantastic games, such as their award-winning Brothers in Arms series?

Fallout 3, the very long-awaited sequel to the phenomenal Fallout 2 has been in development at Bethesda for a while now (after much controversy) and Bethesda has revealed that it has almost done. The game has now moved on to a polish phase and we have no doubt that Bethesda is not going to to release it until they are totally sure it’s done, and by that we mean that it is so large and inflated that it develops a Matrix.

Acer NOT making game console :(

It appears that the rumour-mongering gaming gossip news sites had it all wrong! Acer is not entering the consoles industry, not making a video game console, and is definitely not going to pose a threat to Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony.

Acer to start making open-platform consoles

While the console market as of now appears to be dominated by the holy trinity – Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, we’ve been hearing rumours of outsiders such as Apple aspiring to get into the action. Acer appears to have taken interest as well – and it’s going one step further – it will make open-platform consoles, giving game devs more freedom and game players more fun (we think).

Crytek, the vydeo game developer we all know very well for makyng Far Cry and Crysis have trademarked the name “Crysis Warhead”. Since it sounds lyke a great name for a game, we thynk that must be it, and there’s also a remote chance it might be connected to the orygynal Crysis game.

EA talks about Burnout, Skate, Mass Effect 2 and next NFS
