Wii and DS Numbers are Strong

Nintendo has come out with their fiscal year report:

5.84 million Wii consoles have been sold world-wide along with 40 million DS units since their launches. What is even more shocking is that 23 million DS units were sold this year alone! Imagine if their weren’t Wii shortages, how high would that number be?!

Nintendo projects sales of 14 million Wii systems and 22 million Nintendo DS units.

Money, Money, Money! Where’s my share?

The Lizard is Back!

Spider Man The Lizard

In Spider Man 3: The Game: Based on the Movie: Based on the Sequels: Based on the TV Shows: Based on the Trading Cards: Based on the Comic Books you’ll be able to fight the Lizard! And no this doesn’t sound as cheesy as it looks. Check out the new video in The Pipeline under Xbox 360 Game Videos.

I’ve also added the trailer for the Wii version of the game under Wii Game Videos. If you don’t pee in your pants for this trailer – you’re not a gamer. Using the Wii-mote and the nun-chuck to control webshots looks fantastic!

OBJECTION… wait, scratch that.

Today Capcom held their annual Gamer day in San Francisco. As usual they took the time to announce several titles for the upcoming year, along with other big announcements. Amongst the announcements was Lost Planet going to the PC, a Harvey Birdman game for the PSP, and the official announcement of the third Gyakuten Saiban game(AKA Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) being released in america under the title Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Trials and Tribulation.

Much more was announced, but I gotta say these Attorney games are what really caught my attention. I loved the original Phoenix Wright, along with the sequel, and Harvey Birdman’s just beyond awesome. I just hope that Harvey Birdman ends up being a more adult Phoenix Wright instead of some boring Platformer or something of that nature.

A few more big announcements from Gamer Day 2007.

Higher Quality or Higher Quantity?

This has been the question of the century. Well now you can get both. All of our new videos will be playing in higher video quality! To start things off we’ve uploaded all the webisodes of Spectrobes under the Machinima series.

You might not see the higher quality version when we first upload the videos though. Give us potentially several hours and the video is automatically converted over to a higher quality form. It’s the best way to get new videos onto the player as fast as possible.

Thanks for your continued support!
