Myst DS

Back in the day when the original Myst came out, my computer could barely run it. Fast forward to the year 2008 and I’ll now be able to play the entire game on my DS?! Sure Myst has been a portable game for a while with it being released on PDA’s and the PSP.

But jeeze this is the Nintendo DS, the handheld that is perfect that adventure games. It’s very shocking to realize that game developers haven’t exploited the adventure genre on the DS or even the Wii! Point and click, that’s basically what you do in adventure games. What do you do with the DS and Wii? Point and click.

Rockstar: We never planned Eminem-GTA movie

Dan Houser saying WTF?

In our last post, we found Variety alleging that Rockstar almost yes to a movie project based on the GTA franchise, that was starring none other than Eminem. The project supposedly got cancelled at the last moment, saving millions of innocents like us from cinematic torture.

Eminem almost starred in a GTA movie; We thank heavens

Variety, on their new video game blog have revealed that there were actually plans to make a GTA movie; a revelation quite horrid in itself. But even worse, Eminem was planned to be cast in it, probably because of his spectacular performance in 8 Mile and his utterly brilliant singing and rapping abilities.

Gearbox working on new, top-secret project, is hiring!

Gearbox Software, known for being the guys behind remarkable titles like Brothers in Arms series, the Half-Life expansion packs, the Halo: Combat Evolved PC port and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero have revealed on their forums that they are working on a new, top-secret project and are looking for talent!

We knew that Gearbox is busy with the upcoming Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway and an original project called Borderlands that we covered earlier. This new project however, is not among the two of these and will not even be coming for a while – hit the jump to find out more!
