Definitely the most interesting moment so far at CES 2014. For some reason Michael Bay was having issues with the teleprompter. I’m totally not dissing the guy here cause as we all know it can be nerve wracking saying something in front of a live audience. Still though accidents happen and Michael’s walk of shame off the stage is very amusing. What he was going to say according to his website was “I’m doing a special curved screen experience with Samsung and Transformers 4 footage that will be traveling around the world.”
September 4 we’ll know what the future of wristwatches will look like. The following is a quick prototype of Samsung’s Smartwatch. In all honesty I don’t wear watches so I don’t know why I’d wear a smartwatch. Looking at the picture below doesn’t convince me at all that a device like this Samsung Smartwatch is worth hundreds of dollars. It looks like someone just strapped a phone to someone’s wrist. There’s a lack of creativity in this design to make this watch appealing to people like me. However remember this is simply a prototype. Lets hope that come Wednesday Samsung shows off the future of wearable technology. If they don’t, we’ve always have Apple’s September 10 announcement.
Of course both events will be streamed right here on StuffWeLike! 😉
