Review – South Park The Cult of Cartman: Revelations

Everyone knows South Park – so everyone also knows they “go too far” a lot. Personally, these days, I’m not offended by anything. And I believe most of young America feels the same way. I believe this is also why South Park is still flourishing after seasons and seasons of success.

And this is especially true of the episodes featured on The Cult of Cartman dvd collection. Continue reading “Review – South Park The Cult of Cartman: Revelations”

Review: The Big Bang Theory – Season 1

If StuffWeLike.com were a sitcom, it would be The Big Bang Theory, the endearing comedy about hopelessly nerdy physicists who pretty much like everything that we like.

Johnny Galecki’s Leonard is the emotional center of the show. When Penny (Kaley Cuoco), an attractive young woman, moves into the apartment across the hall, Leonard is instantly smitten. His pursuit of the girl of his dreams forms the spine of the first season.

I’ll Take You to the Candy Shop – Fastlane DVD Review

Written by: Rebecca Rodriguez

The summer of 2008 will go down in the history books as the summer of post-strike recovery. The brightest firecracker since Fourth of July is Warner Bros release of Fastlane.

Created by McG (Charlie’s Angels) and John McNamara (TV’s The Fugitive), there is only one word to describe this series: slick. The series drips with the sort of gloss McG has become known for. High octane car chases matched with zippier dialogue mixed in with McG’s penchant for split screens and slow motion effects and you can see where current television darling Chuck gets its pedigree from.
