Urban Hydration

We all wash and hydrate ourselves every day so it makes sense to do it without the bad stuff. Urban Hydration focuses its products around fruit and plant based care mixed in with vitamins to help nourish your skin.

Their vegan Hemp Seed Oil Body Wash is a mixture of hemp seed oil, coconut oil, and vitamins A & E. You really get the sense of a deep clean well after using it. Over time they say it will firm and brighten your skin as well as fade scars. Of course hemp seed oil naturally has omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids so it should help keep your skin hydrated. There’s no paraben, gluten, paraffin, and silicone.

If you’re looking for a moisturizer that doesn’t make you feel greasy then you might want to look at their Aloe Vera Leaf Daily Body Moisturizer. Applying it leaves a thin layer of aloe that helps moisturizes and smooths your skin. It may help fade dark spots. Also included is Cucumber Extract meant to reduce inflammation and irritation. It’s free of paraben, polybead, sulfate and gluten.

Between these two Urban Hydration products you may have better feeling and looking skin over time.

Tower Guard Zeal Review

I’ve tried tons of protein shakes and they’re always generic chocolate or vanilla. Some of them taste bad while others taste fine. I’ve tried mixing them with other foods to help improve the taste, but it usually does nothing. Thank God I found Tower Guard’s Zeal!

I never thought I could crave a protein shake, but after having a serving of Tower Guard Zeal Fruit Loops I wanted to eat the whole container. I think I’m addicted. I don’t know what it was, but it was delicious. It tasted like I was drinking/eating Fruit Loops and who doesn’t love Fruit Loops?!

Another common incident with protein shakes is that my stomach gets upset or I feel very full. I took Zeal on an empty stomach to see how it reacted. I’m happy to report that it went down smooth with no gas, burps, nor bloatedness.

I have to imagine that this is due to the high quality non-GMO and gluten free ingredients and probiotics found in Zeal. Here’s the full list: Non-GMO Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC 85) rGBH Free, Cane Sugar, Creamer, Rice trin, Natural Colors (turmeric, red beet root, blueberry powder), Natural and Artificial flavors, Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30 6086, Salt, Monk Fruit.

With 30g of protein, only 160 calories, total fat 1g with 1g of saturated fat, no cholesterol, and only 8g of carbs Tower Guard’s Zeal is a lean way to help you gain muscle and strength.

Drift Review

We all have stinky cars. The interior of a car is one of the few places we clean on a regular basis. That’s why many of us use scents, but as it turns out those scents might be chemically based. That’s why Drift has introduced scented products with none of the bad stuff. They’re free of harmful chemicals – no parabens, phthalates, dea, or mineral oil.

Of course most air fresheners are ugly. They dangle from your rear view mirror and partially block your view. Drift has two types of fresheners one that attaches to your visor and the other attaches to your air vent.

The Wood Visor has a piece of metal that clamps onto your visor. The scented piece of wood has a magnet on the backside that you place onto the metal clamp. The wood is made in the USA from sustainably sourced cedar wood. It’s soaked in essential and fragrance oils. They have a scent of the month program so you’ll never go back to smelling your stinky car.

If you want to smell the scents at home Drift does offer room sprays. You could quickly spray this in an area with frequent high stink odors such as the bathroom or near the garbage can.

Of the two scents that I’ve smelled Palm and Mill I’m loving them. They both provide this calming sensation. They’re nothing like typical fresheners that smell slightly off and make you sneeze.

Outlaw Soaps Review

I have now seen the light. The soaps that I have previously used that were described to be men’s soap were lies. Smelling like a lavender toucan is nothing to write home about. However smelling like an outlaw who just robbed the bank and is now enjoying his prized positions next to the camp fire is. The combination of oils in these soaps makes them the manliest soaps I’ve ever smelled. One smell of these and you’ll be taking shots of whiskey for breakfast.

As their mug says “Wake Up. Kick Ass. Repeat.”

My care package included Blazing Saddles Handmade Bar Soap, Fire in the Hole Campfire Milled Bar Soap, Mountain Hideout Body Wash, and a taste of The Gambler Milled Bar Soap.

Each has a completely unique smell, but still smell like they share the same universe and vibe together. If you want the bar soap’s full experience might I suggest first trying out the handmade versions. They’re beautifully colored and handcrafted unlike the milled versions. Understand though that the milled version smells just as good to me and has a lower price.

Just because you’ll now smell like a man, doesn’t mean you should be using harsh chemicals on your skin. Thankfully Outlaw Soaps does a good job avoiding them. Here are the ingredients included in each item.

Blazing Saddles Handmade Bar Soap: Coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, fragrance oil, and coloring.

Fire in the Hole Campfire Milled Bar Soap: Coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, fragrance oil, and coloring.

Mountain Hideout Body Wash: Aloe vera juice*, coconut oil*, potassium hydroxide, olive oil*, glycerin, sunflower oil*, guar gum, rosemary extract, shea butter*, citric acid, fragrance. *Indicates organic ingredient

The Gambler Milled Bar Soap: Coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, fragrance oil, and coloring.

Treat yourself to Outlaw Soaps and become the man you were meant to be.

Shrewd Food Protein Puffs, Protein Cookies, Protein Dippers, Protein Croutons

If you could have a snack that had no nutritional value versus a snack that did which would you choose? I think a lot of us imagine that with good nutrition comes bad taste. Well Shrewd Food is trying to change that by baking their own lineup of snacks that pack protein, have no artificial flavors, and are peanut and nut free.

The Protein Puffs, Protein Dippers, Protein Croutons each have their various flavor coating on the outside and a crunchy center similar to Cheetos. They all taste light and not greasy like other snacks. best of all they’re non-GMO.

The Protein Puffs are great as they offer tons of flavors: Baked Cheddar, Brick Oven Pizza, Sriracha Cheddar, Cookies & Cream, Strawberries & Cream, Sour Cream & Onion, and Nacho Cheese. All bags offer 90 calories and range between 12g to 14g of protein.

The Protein Dipper lineup is for all those chocolate lovers out there. You can get either Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate that is or not Keto friendly. All do not contain corn syrup. These are fun to suck off the chocolate coating before crunching the center.

The Protein Croutons taste exactly how you’d expect. They’re just like croutons that you’d find in salad. This time they’re in small bite sized puff form and while they do have a crunch they aren’t hard to bite on. In fact as I’m writing this review I find myself munching on these Protein Croutons the most.

The Protein Cookies are crunchy yet soft and moist. Thankfully unlike other snack cookies they don’t taste stale. These cookies are made with 10 different fruits and vegetables which equate to 1 serving. You’ll be happy to know that they contain both pro-biotics and pre-biotics. So you’ll be able to digest them with ease.

No matter what style of snack you like Shrewd Foods has your protein hunger craving solved so be on the lookout for them in your snack aisle.
