Originally released for Sega CD and then later the PC, Sonic CD is deemed by fans as the best Sonic game of all time. I don’t know if that’s because of the gameplay or because it introduced Metal Sonic and Amy Rose.
It’s coming to the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, iOS, PC, and Windows Phones in late 2011. The re-release of Sonic CD will be making its public debut at the Microsoft booth at PAX Prime in Seattle, August 26–28, 2011.
Several brand new features in htis re-release will be included: enhanced widescreen graphics, special iOS features, Xbox LIVE Achievements, PSN Trophies, PC Achievements and more.
