After 20 years on the air, The Simpsons finally upgrades to its most vibrant version yet, HIGH DEFINITION baby!
If you missed the first ever HD The Simpsons episode that aired on Sunday, then of course it’ll be available all over the interwebs soon enough. The episode is entitled “Take My Life, Please.”
The odd thing is that FOX did nothing to promote this historic event. I was absolutely shocked to see a new intro in widescreen and then realizing that the entire episode was in high definition. Fantastic! Such a surprise that only happens every couple of years such as Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction.
King of the Hill aired for the first time ever in high definition last weekend.
Many thanks FOX for bringing these great series to a visual quality that they deserve!
