Capski Bottle Opener, Sudski Shower Beer Holder, Sipski Wine Holder, Joeski Shower Coffee Holder Review

We all know that friend who is either an alcoholic or a caffeine addict. A lot of the time we may struggle to find them the perfect gift. Well I might have just helped you with that with the Capski Bottle Opener, Sudski Shower Beer Holder, Sipski Wine Holder, and Joeski Shower Coffee Holder.

The Capski Bottle Opener allows you to stick a bottle cap opener on your refrigerator without a magnet or permanent sticky adhesive. The Sudski Shower Beer Holder, Sipski Wine Holder, and Joeski Shower Coffee Holder are meant for your shower/bath tub. They as well are meant to stick without a permanent sticky adhesive to hold the desired beverage.

Of course these are all gag gifts, but I did find the Capski Bottle Opener to be the most helpful out of the bunch. Everyone needs an easy to find bottle cap opener. All of the products need to be placed on a surface for over 24 hours. I did have problems with the Sudski Shower Beer Holder, Sipski Wine Holder, and Joeski Shower Coffee Holder. For some reason they did not want to stick onto my type of tile for more than several hours. So obviously I wasn’t able to get them to hold a drink.

If you’re looking for a white elephant present, or some other sort of gift that says I guess you’ll like this you might want to check this out.

Bug Out Bar Chocolate Brownie

That is the face of someone who has taken a leap for mankind. If you’re like me you’ve probably never thought about eating bugs. I understand that there are benefits, but is it worth the risk?

Well know that I fully ate one of the Chocolate Brownie Bug Out Bar before I wrote this article. Half an hour later and my stomach is not turning. Honestly I thought I’d be in the bathroom by now.

I’ve tried pea protein and almond butter, but cricket protein? I had not. The way Bug Out Bar mixes their ingredients I would never be able to tell that I had just ate a cricket. The number one thing I tasted was chocolate. A chocolate bar with 15g of protein, has healthy ingredients, and is better for the environment – sign me up!

Bug Out Bar’s website says if you want animal based protein, eating more crickets could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by a factor of 100x, cut water usage by 56x, and reduce land use by 10x. Crickets general nutrition tends to be higher than other animal products as well: 2x the protein of beef, 6x the B12 of wild salmon, more omega-3 fatty acids than wild salmon, omega-6 to omega-3 ratio of 2:1, iron in similar amounts to beef, probiotic fiber may improve gut health and reduce inflammation, all 9 essential amino acids.

That’s a long list and since eating a bar, I can easily see myself adding more to my diet. It tastes good and seems to be good for you.

I found a comparison of Bug Out Bar vs the rest. Really makes you think about which one you want in your body.

HÄNS Ultra-Clean

You’re probably not aware, but tech is dirty. Seriously when was the last time you cleaned your computer screen, smartphone, or gaming controller? Tech is no longer only in our home, but it’s also in our cars via the touchscreens. Everywhere we go, we touch dirty tech.

Meet HÄNS your tech superhero whose power is to super clean! The HÄNS Ultra-Clean wipe cloth literally wraps around the spray bottle and becomes a cape. The cover art is the HÄNS super hero battling an evil germ.

I had to capture this photo in panorama mode to see the battle. So ignore the jagged edges in the image.

Cuteness aside the cleaning solution is actually quite powerful. It has 2.5 times the amount of active ingredients as the leading disinfecting/sanitizing wipe. It does not contain oxidizers, ammonia, bleach, strong acids and strong alkali materials.

The cape’s material is also important too. Most cloths would soak up the majority of the solution and do little in the way of cleaning. You can feel safe knowing that when you spray the wipe it will transfer the cleaning solution onto the tech surface.

I used HÄNS Ultra-Clean on the touch screen of my Surface Studio 2 and boy does it look purty. I didn’t realize beforehand how dirty and full of gunk the screen was. Using HÄNS Ultra-Clean really makes you appreciate have clean tech.

Vedic Botanicals Working Hands, Defense Balm, Recovery Aide: Healing Serum

The minute I opened my Vedic Botanicals package I knew I was in for a treat. Vedic Botanicals focuses on rich organic ingredients that form its Ayurvedic body care products. For those of you who don’t know, Ayurvedic is the world’s oldest health care system dating back 5,000 years. The goal is to balance the body by looking for the root of the problem and treating it.

I received Working Hands, Defense Balm, and Recovery Aide: Healing Serum. Each contain plant sourced ingredients clearly labeled.

Working Hands and Defense Balm are similar in that these creams both will sooth your skin. Working Hands helps repair skin cells and reduce inflammation. Defense Balm focuses on helping your immune system and kills germs through its essential oils.

The Recovery Aide: Healing Serum liquid aims to reduce inflammation in muscles and joints as well as increase circulation. You can quickly spray this on your skin after a workout to help calm fatigued areas.

I think with any cream based product you’re always worried about if it makes you feel sticky, if it smells, and ultimately how long does the smooth feeling last. I applied both Working Hands and Defense Balm on various parts of my body and no where did I feel sticky. Each have their own unique and pleasant smell. They also seemed to soften my skin for several hours after applying. I had a small cut on my hand and after I applied the Working Hands cream I actually noticed the redness go down.

For the Recovery Aide: Healing Serum any time that I felt a little pain in my feet after running or stiffness in my neck I squirted some on and rubbed it over my skin. It does seem to soften the skin as well. So I have to imagine that it is loosening up the area.

We all get dry skin, cuts, and stiffness that we want to recover from as quickly as possible. Aiding the body through this process helps speed this up. If you’re looking for body care products with quality you should definitely check out Vedic Botanicals.

YVY Naturals Review

Everyone likes solid presentation. YVY Naturals has a slick cleaning bottle that makes you want to show it off.

YVY allows you to clean your house while reducing CO2 emissions and reduce plastic. This is achieved because the product is shipped without water. You’ll have to add the water to the bottle. This helps reduce the weight of shipping and overall material cost.

You can rest easy knowing that the cleaning product is made with 100% natural citrus and Amazonian botanicals. The All-purpose Cleaner solution has a nice orange aroma to it. There are also Bathroom and Kitchen cleaning kits.

No matter what kit you have, in three quick steps you’ll be on your way to a cleaner home. First fill the bottle up with water. Then place the capsule inside the bottle. Wait for the cleaning product to mix with the water and you’ll be good to go.

Once you’ve got the starter kit you’ll have to buy additional kits that include 6 capsules for $25.99. That comes out to about $4.33 a bottle. Definitely a reasonable price especially when you factor in the positive environmental impact.
