Winnie the Pooh Bluray Review

There’s something geniune about this movie. I really enjoy coming back to this world and its characters. When you watch this movie it’s like nothing changed in the Hundred Acre Wood. For some people that may be a disappointment that you’re watching such a familiar story unfold, but for me it just made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

The best special feature to arrive on this DVD and Bluray is the Winnie The Pooh and His Story Too. It talks about how Winnie the Pooh was created and brought back over the years. There’s also a short about Winnie the Pooh’s balloon, as well as 5 deleted scenes that are a nice addition.

The Ballad of Nessie isn’t all that interesting of a short. While it did accompany the theatrical release of Winnie the Pooh, it still feels tacked on.

Winnie the Pooh is a slower paced movie than what a lot of audiences might be used to today in the animation world. It retains that classic Disney animation feel which makes it worthwhile to check out.
