Eminem In Call of Duty: Black Ops Soundtrack

Don’t blame me, blame Bobby Kotick.

Bobby Kotick, the satanspawn CEO of Activision Blizzard has announced that they’ll be having a range of artists on the soundtracks of Call of Duty®: Black OpsTM, DJ Hero® 2, Guitar Hero®: Warriors of Rock and True Crime®: Hong Kong. While DJ Hero and Guitar Hero are hardly news, Call of Duty will be getting its first licensed track courtesy Eminem.

Song is question will be a track from Eminem’s new album “Recovery”, releasing later this month. No word yet on whether the song will play in-game, or during the credits, or edited out of the game entirely, which would be too good to be true.

It would have been a much better idea to have real Cold War-era music instead. I wouldn’t mind Rasputin or Trololo in the background of my shootingfest, not one bit.
