Disney’s The Princess and the Frog is a magical, fantastical, and fun journey that proves that classic animation isn’t dead. It just needed a reboot. And with this film I think Disney has redeemed itself, especially after Home on the Range.
While it’s not on the same level as The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, The Princess and the Frog is an enjoyable movie. There are plenty of fun songs, wacky characters, and a strong message about not giving up on your dreams. It’s a fun family-friendly film that has plenty of laughs and good-natured physical comedy.

I recommend The Princess and the Frog. I also recommend The Little Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Tarzan, The Lion King, and Hercules. This new movie is in good company, and while it may not be on the same level of greatness as The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, it’s certainly up there. It’s worth a look!
