“I gave her my heart, she gave me a pen.”
Don’t let her do that to you Lloyd Dobler. It’s not right. You deserve better. Don’t hold your boombox up for any girl that thinks less of you. You’re too cool for her with your brown trench coat and kickin’ car. Besides you’ve got to think about what’s best for your nephew. You can’t afford to be staying up late at night when you’ve got a karate kid at home. Focus on getting a job that doesn’t sell anything processed or process anything so bought. Then 20 years later your life story will be released on Blu-ray and you’ll have all the hot chicks in the world.
If you’ve ever seen this “funny, warmhearted romantic comedy” so said by Roger Ebert, you’ve done a good job spending 100 minutes of your life. If you haven’t seen this film, you now know how to spend 100 minutes of your life in an enjoyable way. There are multiple scenes that are worth watching multiple times so it is very possible that you may spend over 100 minutes watching this film. Add that to the amount of extra features and you’ve dedicated a plethora of hours to this funny high school romance film.
If you can’t tell I highly recommend this film. The first thirty minutes alone are worth every cent.
