Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. – Blu-ray/DVD Review

Monsters

One of Disney/Pixar’s most beloved movies has finally arrived on Blu-ray! Monsters, Inc. is yet another monumental achievement in computer animated filmmaking that raised the bar for the films that would follow it. This is one of my favorite Pixar movies, and if you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend you do!

Starring the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman, as monsters Mike and Sully, the movie explores the truth behind those things that go bump in the night while we’re sleeping and if there truly are monsters under the bed and in the closet. When Sully accidentally lets a little girl, Boo, into the world of Monstropolis, he and Mike have to do whatever they can to protect her and get her back home. Will they succeed?

There’s plenty of great jokes, gags, and physical comedy throughout Monsters, Inc., and the animation still creates feelings of awe and amazement despite technological advances since its release. This is a quality movie that is worth seeing and owning.

This particular edition contains four (yes, four) discs. There are two Blu-ray discs, a DVD, and a Digital Copy of the film. So, aside from three formats of the movie, what do you get in terms of special features?
