If you’ve seen the movie, you know how good it is. Javier Bardem (Vicky, Christina, Barcelona), Tommy Lee Jones (The Fugitive, Volcano), and Josh Brolin (W., Milk) ignite the screen with their mastery of the Coen Brothers’ (Burn After Reading, Fargo) adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name.
Winner of the 2007 Academy Award for Best Picture, it’s a film that left some movie goers pissed at the end. And that’s just fine with me.
No Country for Old Men is also available in a single DVD edition. This was the version that was released first over a year ago. The special features that appear on that DVD version, along with the movie are the same. It’s what’s on the second DVD that makes this new version the “Collector’s Edition.”
Let’s explore each disc, shall we?

Disc #2
Josh Brolin’s Unauthorized Behind-the-Scenes Featurette

Publicity Timeline:
You have two ways of navigating this section. You can either select “Call it, Friend-o” and be taken to a random publicity item, or you can select from the timeline at the bottom of the screen. Personally, the “Call it, Friend-o” thing is more fun. Since there are so many, here’s a listing of all that is included in this section:

Upload a digital copy of the film onto your computer or portable device for hours of No Country fun!
There’s a lot of material here. For the No Country lover it’s a dream come true. If you liked the film, you’ll be fine with renting or buying the one-disc version. For those who can’t get enough and have the time, this “Collector’s Edition” is a good buy. I give it an A+. Now, if they would only do a similar treatment on There Will Be Blood…
I love this movie, and also many of my friends likes this.
