Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1 DVD EPIC Review

In what is probably our most EPIC video review yet, StuffWeLike.com reviews Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1.

Terminator fans will enjoy Sarah Connor Chronicles as a spin-off from the original movie story-arc.

For some odd reason this video excludes gunshots at the beginning. Personally I don’t think that matters. It makes the video seem more cheesy.

Transformers Animated: Season One DVD Review

Before I start this review I feel I must warn the reader that I do in fact have a bit of a personal bias, as I’ve been one of the most avid and devoted fans of the Transformers universe/franchise since 1985 (coincidentally, the time of my birth…).

Yes, I am one of those people who was even partially responsible for getting that disgusting piece of filth made by Michael Bay (whose only redeeming qualities were it gave Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime, his props and well deserved big screen return, and that it got a proper release of the original 1986 film on DVD).

Eva Longoria in The Avengers?!

And you’d think it’s still too early to talk about a movie coming out in 2011. But it’s never too early for Marvel comic book adaptations, especially after their masterstroke, Iron Man. So we do have a good idea now about what movies we can expect from Marvel, but isn’t cast speculation a little too early?

And if it’s too early for cast speculation, shouldn’t it be a little unthinkable that they’ve already started casting? Hell, Favreau only gave us fuzzy details of Iron Man 2, it would be shocking if they’ve already started putting stars as The Avengers.

Rumour is, Eva Longoria may be cast in it. Yes, that Eva Longoria from Desperate Housewives (like you were thinking of another, pfft). How does this rumour crop up? Look at the image above. Yes, Longoria was seen at the Marvel Studios offices and went out carrying a bunch of those Avengers issues. Coincidence? Sudden fandom?

Seemingly, she wasn’t too careful on hiding those, so it could either mean that it’s supposed to be a misleading hype-event or a direct declaration. Hmm.

Remember Kelly Bundy from Married…with Children? She was the quintessential clueless-airhead-slut daughter of Al and Peg Bundy for eleven seasons on FOX. Played hilariously by Christina Applegate, Applegate returns to TV again (yes, I know about Jesse, but let’s not talk about that) in Samantha Who? And, I can’t believe I’m going to say this Continue reading ““Samantha Who?””

Concert DVD Review – AC/DC’s No Bull: the Director’s Cut

AC/DC has typically been known for putting on one Hell of a show after another. Their performance in Madrid, Spain in 1996 is certainly no exception.

The band consists of very visual performers who truly interact with their audiences and aim to put on a thrilling show. The DVD starts as the concert does. In front of what feels like millions of screaming fans, a giant wrecking ball demolishes a fake on-stage building, leaving an empty stage in need of rocking.
