Tiny Toon Adventures a Blast from the Past

The Looney Cast of \

I love cartoons. Always have, always will. I can still watch Inspector Gadget, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the original series), Disney’s TaleSpin, and Darkwing Duck, and the two other well-known Steven Spielberg Presents cartoon series Animaniacs and Freakazoid. I’m old enough to have watched Tiny Toon Adventures when it was first on TV back in the early 90s. It was funny, amusing, and entertaining when I was younger, and still has its moments today.

I’ll Take You to the Candy Shop – Fastlane DVD Review

Written by: Rebecca Rodriguez

The summer of 2008 will go down in the history books as the summer of post-strike recovery. While viewers are eagerly awaiting the return of interrupted story lines and character arcs, they can still keep their DVD players functioning with a bevy of newly released series collections. The brightest firecracker since Fourth of July is Warner Bros release of Fastlane.

Created by McG (Charlie’s Angels) and John McNamara (TV’s The Fugitive), there is only one word to describe this series: slick. The series drips with the sort of gloss McG has become known for. High octane car chases matched with zippier dialogue mixed in with McG’s penchant for split screens and slow motion effects and you can see where current television darling Chuck gets its pedigree from.

Freakazoid Season 1 DVD Review

StuffWeLike.com reviews Freakazoid Season 1 DVD.

Created in the mid-90s Freakazoid is more of a variety cartoon show. Anything is possible in this super-hero based world. The story doesn’t matter. It’s about the comedy.

The first disk is filled with the best episodes. Disc 2 isn’t nearly as good because they do focus in on story elements.

The special features are just as good as the show. Really funny.

Kids might not get the jokes, but teenagers to adults will.

I say buy it. This is definitely a must see.
