Sam & Max Episode 6

Say goodbye to the Sam & Max series again because Episode 6 is the last new episode of season 1! Gametap is releasing the game on April 26 and Telltale will sell it on May 10. Obviously we’ll see a repackaging of Season 1 in a boxed set for retail outlets, but all of those laughs are finally coming to an end.

The question on everyone’s mind is – when is season 2 coming out? We’ll let you know soon enough. In the mean time check out the teaser video to Episode 6: Bright Side of the Moon on The Pipeline under PC Game Videos.

Turok? Are you fo real!?

Remember that Dinosaur hunting game Turok? Well so do I! And remember all of those really bad sequels that came out after? Me, too! Do I want to remember those? Probably not. The fact of the matter is that there is going to be another Turok. But wait, there’s a catch. It looks like this one may not suck that much, or even suck at all. In the new OXM magazine there is an article about the new Turok and it actually seems to be looking pretty good. Some of the cool additions are being able to lure the dinosaurs to where enemies are and watch them devour the evil bad people and stealth kills which switch the camera to a 3rd person point of view so that you can watch the carnage. Let’s be real, who doesn’t want to watch themselves stab a velociraptor in the throat? Anyways, hopefully this game will bring back the franchise and encourage others to bring back franchises that died long ago.

Sony to Discontinue PS3

SonyStyle has removed the 20 gigabyte PS3 model from its website. Why would Sony bother doing this though?

Sony is most likely working on a new higher end model. Next-Gen.biz discovered a US Federal Communications Commissions report that says an 80 gigabyte model is in the works.

With the new Xbox 360 Elite model coming out soon at 120 gigabytes – why would Sony bother with a mere 80 gigs? Is Sony simply trying to cut costs on the amount of money that they lose with the PS3? With the already high price of $599 Sony can’t afford to make the PS3 even more of a luxury item.
