The Time Traveler’s Wife – Soundtrack Review

TTWst

The soundtrack for the New Line Cinema film The Time Traveler’s Wife is filled with emotion, passion, and thematic elements. It’s a mixture of the instrumental and lyrical; the sad and the mysterious.

With close to an hour of music, composer Mychael Danna and the Hollywood Studio Symphony musically create the romantic/dramatic world that envelopes the main characters played by Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

Each scored moment plucks at the heartstrings of the listener, providing plenty of cathartic and emotional moments.

The soundtrack also features “Love Will Tear Us Apart” by Broken Social Scene and “Broken” by Lifehouse.

The Time Traveler’s Wife hits theatres August 14, 2009. Check back for our review of the film early Friday morning.
