This Week on: Heroes – Parasite

Wow. Just… wow. Terrific episode tonight. Finally, we’ve returned to stories covering all the characters, not just a select group of them. When was the last time we even saw some of these people? But finding out that we wouldn’t have a new episode for another month and a half? No dice.

What happened again? Let’s see: Nathan goes to visit Linderman, Hiro goes to visit Linderman, Jessica is working for Linderman, Mohinder and Sylar are working on “the List”, Clare is on the run, and Nathan and Issac have to deal with the death of Simone. Well, that was the standings at the beginning of the episode. In the end? Oh, you’ll just have to find out for yourself.

This Week on: Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive

The new season of Power Rangers premiered today and man was it amazing (sarcasm). The new season has two main villains the snowman and the devil. The snowman is actually a cooler looking villain than the devil – if you can believe that. Also in the first two episodes we got a knock off of the butler in Batman, Alfred, and Dr. Jones himself from Indiana Jones… Has Power Rangers gone on so long that they need to start ripping off things other than itself? Thankfully these two episodes were better than anything that last seasons Power Rangers: Mystic Force produced.

Don’t worry you won’t have to stay tuned for any further reviews of Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive because I’m not going to waste my time. Until next year when Powers Rangers meet The little Mermaid.

This Week on: Lost – Tricia Tanaka Is Dead

Finally an episode that didn’t suck. Yes the story in this episode didn’t really mean anything to the overall plot, but it was a fun Hurley episode none the less. I needed something more than just seeing Jack in a jail cell and this episode provided that. Hopefully this is the episode to take Lost out of its third season slump of crappy and dull episodes. Previously the best moment in this season was in the first episode when we saw the Others watching the plane crash. How long did this scene last? Oh for only a couple of minutes. A couple of good minutes does not make for an entirely good season. If only we could have a season like season 1 again…

I’d also like to point out that this was the first full-length episode of any television series that I’ve seen online rather than watching on TV! I only had to sit through one commercial because I wasn’t fast enough to click to the next segment before the commercial loaded.

Two New Shows

With the success of the StuffWeLike Media Player, we’ve expanded our lineup to now featuring ‘Movie Trailers’ and ‘Live Events.’ Movie trailers shows trailers for upcoming movies. Live Events shows events that were filmed on some location other than our dorm, usually a special event.

In related news we’ve uploaded The Making of Myst video that came with the game back when it was released in the early ’90s.

Fantastic Four 2 TV Spot

Could a sequel be better than the first movie?

Can a sequel be better than the first movie?

It appears that it can. If Fantastic Four 2 proves to be as hilarious as this one-linear joke Marvel fans will rejoice for they will have two great movies (including Spiderman 3) coming later this year. You can find the TV Spot at here.

Overall I liked Fanastic Four, but it did have several flaws. Hopefully this sequel can improve upon it…
