StuffWeLike at E3: Star Wars 1313

One of the coolest aspects of the Star Wars universe are the bounty hunters. So it was only a matter of time before LucasArts would create a video game that features a bounty hunter as the main character. Welcome to the world of Star Wars 1313.

What is 1313? It’s a level deep inside planet Coruscant where the most evil, most nefarious, and just plain bad exist and wreak havoc. It’s a level where the unruly rule and the violence runs rampant. It’s a world where the Force doesn’t exist, and no Jedi are anywhere to be found.

Star Wars 1313 is a unique collaboration between medium, combining the efforts of LucasFilm, Industrial Light and Magic, and Skywalker Sound along with LucasArts for the very first time. The goal is to make Star Wars 1313 as cinematic and real as possible while making it as interactive and exciting for the gamer at the same time.

From the brief gameplay I saw, this looks to be a pretty intense and exciting game. This will be the first Star Wars game to have an M rating for violence, language, and dark thematic elements, so this is definitely geared toward the adult Star Wars fan. And it looks like a lot of fun!

What can you expect as a bounty hunter exploring the world of 1313? Plenty of action, plenty of violence, plus lots of cool weapons and gadgets. In terms of actual game play experience, the game will feature a combination of agile cover-based combat, epic platforming and seamless playable cinematic game play.

The game is currently still in the early stages of production and no details were given as to its official release date. Check out www.StarWars1313.com for the latest news and updates!
