Can you believe that it’s been seven years since Half-Life 2 was released? Damn, I remember its release like it was just yesterday and all the squibbing that occurred over its mandatory Steam activation. And the last Half-Life game was Episode Two, which came out all the way back in 2007, which is four years ago. And one of the reasons Valve cited for going episodic was that it’d make games come out faster, hah.
So maybe Valve finally has the ball rolling with Half-Life 3 and we’ll soon be seeing Mr Freeeeeeeeman back in action? Only time (and Gabe Newell) can tell.
