Mass Effect. Dragon Age. KOTOR. All of these have all found themselves on the “hits” list with gamers with BioWare’s renowned storytelling giving them life. Mass Effect 2 left us wanting more while Dragon Age wove a spectacular story in the medieval/fantasy times. Released today is a short teaser trailer showing off a military op looking guy hiding out in some debris. Check it out.
Not much to go by. Some have speculated that it could be a reboot of Siphon Filter or even have something to vaguely do with Mass Effect 3. The VGA’s are set to air on December 11th so at least we have some sort of time frame in which to go crazy. Along with the video, Bioware released a Quickmark to torment gamers further.
What you get is a sting of binary code: 001101010011010100101110001110000011010000110101. When translated it gives the atomic weight of iron, 55.845. VG247 used their deductive skills to figure out that iron is used to make steel and that “Steel” is part of a title called “Shattered Steel” made by BioWare back in 1996. A Tweet from RockPaperShotgun also pointed out:
Latest Bio-tweet translates to -128.5°F. Which is the coldest temperature ever recorded on Earth. Vostok, Antarctica on July 21, 1983
There is a system called Vostok in Mass Effect 1
It could be any one of these things! So much speculation has gone on around the web all the while BioWare laughs as we run around like decapitated chickens. Thank you BioWare.
