Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 just released to about every console out there and hot on its heels is a fan made creation that could rival Sega’s very own creation. Two people that go by the names Mercury and Pelikan13 have taken it upon themselves to recreate a few levels from Sonic 4 in perhaps a direction that fans have been clamoring for.
Apparently a couple die hard fans is all it takes to create a game these days. Both fellows work on their own, independently from Sega and are still working on a full creation. The current build is available here for free on PC but has been known to be a demanding program, so be wary.
