The Duke, the King of Shooters, the one who’s been kicking asses and long been out of bubblegum is finally returning to the realm of games all thanks to 2K and Gearbox.
A rare and special offer has just been announced for those who are looking to get their hands on Duke after a 12 year long absence. You may have heard of a little game called Borderlands released back in ’07 along with its many DLC packs that have been released over the years. Well now a Game of the Year Edition (GOTY) is hitting store shelves with all the DLC packs as well as an awesome code to get you into the Duke Nukem First Access Club. Being part of the club (come on, who wouldn’t want to be part of a club where The Duke is at the head?) will give you exclusive first access to the demo that was shown off to the media in the past months.
Borderlands is a game packed full of fun, guns, and plenty to see and do. If you haven’t played this open world crossbreed yet, now would be the time to pick it up and not only have Borderlands but all of its DLC (Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution), a Duke Nukem Forever demo, and other extras available to you once inside the club. All of this for the price of a regular game, $59.99 on PS3 and 360 and $49.99 on PC next week on October 12th. Gearbox and 2K have done an awesome job with Borderlands so what they do with the Duke can’t be far from excellently awesome. Hail to the King baby!
