X-Files 2: The Movie

With word out now that The X-Files 2 movie is coming to theaters in 2008, I pose the question is this a good thing?

Watch the video below and judge for yourself.

The X-Files, though a classic TV show, is something that to many is seen as cheesy and stupid. The series never truly answered half the questions it brought up. Do you honestly think the second movie will answer more questions than it asks? I say no. Either way if it can be as cheesy and fun as the clips above, I’m totally down to seeing the new movie. The clips above came from the video game released in the 90s. Yes it was awesome.

Old Skool Games Rule!

There’s something about dusting off your old console or PCs and trying to get these 10 year old games playing correctly. It’s almost like playing through your memories. Whether they’re cheesy or down right terrible, you remember these games as being groundbreaking. They left an impact on you as a child and have forever shaped who you are. This is why we like old skool video games.

Soon enough we’ll see companies popping up, restoring old classics just like they do with films nowadays. God I love these games!

Half-Life and Half-Life 2 in 60 Seconds Flat!

Well, of course, nobody has invented a record of beating both games in 60 seconds (it takes even more than 120 for my copy of Episode Two to load), but this hilarious video gives you a glimpse of what could have happened had that been possible. I really like the way the maker has squeezed in so many Half-Life jokes and references in scenes. You’ll have to watch the video at least thrice to even hope and get them all!
