Ford Fusion Hybrid 2010

If there has ever been a stigma against American made cars, it’s that they aren’t fuel efficient. It looks like Ford is aiming to reshape that image with its new 2010 Fusion Hybrid.

Ford Fusion Hybrid 2010

It is now officially America’s most fuel efficient mid-size car with a certified 41 mpg rating in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. It topped the Toyota Camry hybrid by 8 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway. It also beat the even smaller Honda Civic Hybrid by 1 mpg. While that may appear to be a small amount, it adds up in the long run.

Ford’s Fusion Hybrid can travel up to 47 miles per hour on electric power alone.

Commercial Outer Space Living

Spaceport America

When you’ve got the US Federal Aviation Administration green lighting the first ever commercial spaceport operation, you know it’s big news. The FAA approved Spaceport America’s request to vertically and horizontally launch into space.

Now it’s as “simple” as building the spacestation, which is said to begin in the first quarter of 2009. Spaceport America hopes to have the terminal and hangar facility completed by late 2010.

In order to get to the spacestation, space cadets will fly on Virgin Galactic. In the past, those Galactic tickets have cost $200,000.

Battlestar Gallactica Websiode 1 -WTF?

Battlestar Gallactica is a fantastic sci-fi show with awe-inspiring space battles. Sci-Fi is beginning to release webisodes based on the show. Now unlike the Lost minisodes, these BSG webisodes are actually worth watching.

I yelled WTF at one part of the episode. Yes, if you’re a fan, watch this.

It finally looks like web based episodes are living up to their TV counterparts. It’s about time.

The Dark Knight 2-disk Special Edition REVIEW

Dark Knight

Why our review for The Dark Knight is 4 days late is unforgivable, but what this 2-disk special edition DVD had to offer isn’t any reason for a dog to chase cars either. The Dark Knight is the best Batman film ever released, and if somehow you didn’t see it in Imax or theaters, you should most likely navigate away from this page now, and go see the damn film.
