Vedic Botanicals Working Hands, Defense Balm, Recovery Aide: Healing Serum

The minute I opened my Vedic Botanicals package I knew I was in for a treat. Vedic Botanicals focuses on rich organic ingredients that form its Ayurvedic body care products. For those of you who don’t know, Ayurvedic is the world’s oldest health care system dating back 5,000 years. The goal is to balance the body by looking for the root of the problem and treating it.

I received Working Hands, Defense Balm, and Recovery Aide: Healing Serum. Each contain plant sourced ingredients clearly labeled.

Working Hands and Defense Balm are similar in that these creams both will sooth your skin. Working Hands helps repair skin cells and reduce inflammation. Defense Balm focuses on helping your immune system and kills germs through its essential oils.

The Recovery Aide: Healing Serum liquid aims to reduce inflammation in muscles and joints as well as increase circulation. You can quickly spray this on your skin after a workout to help calm fatigued areas.

I think with any cream based product you’re always worried about if it makes you feel sticky, if it smells, and ultimately how long does the smooth feeling last. I applied both Working Hands and Defense Balm on various parts of my body and no where did I feel sticky. Each have their own unique and pleasant smell. They also seemed to soften my skin for several hours after applying. I had a small cut on my hand and after I applied the Working Hands cream I actually noticed the redness go down.

For the Recovery Aide: Healing Serum any time that I felt a little pain in my feet after running or stiffness in my neck I squirted some on and rubbed it over my skin. It does seem to soften the skin as well. So I have to imagine that it is loosening up the area.

We all get dry skin, cuts, and stiffness that we want to recover from as quickly as possible. Aiding the body through this process helps speed this up. If you’re looking for body care products with quality you should definitely check out Vedic Botanicals.

YVY Naturals Review

Everyone likes solid presentation. YVY Naturals has a slick cleaning bottle that makes you want to show it off.

YVY allows you to clean your house while reducing CO2 emissions and reduce plastic. This is achieved because the product is shipped without water. You’ll have to add the water to the bottle. This helps reduce the weight of shipping and overall material cost.

You can rest easy knowing that the cleaning product is made with 100% natural citrus and Amazonian botanicals. The All-purpose Cleaner solution has a nice orange aroma to it. There are also Bathroom and Kitchen cleaning kits.

No matter what kit you have, in three quick steps you’ll be on your way to a cleaner home. First fill the bottle up with water. Then place the capsule inside the bottle. Wait for the cleaning product to mix with the water and you’ll be good to go.

Once you’ve got the starter kit you’ll have to buy additional kits that include 6 capsules for $25.99. That comes out to about $4.33 a bottle. Definitely a reasonable price especially when you factor in the positive environmental impact.

Good Green Cleaner Review

I’d bet you never thought you can have a cleaner house and reduce your plastic footprint at the same time. Good Green Cleaner has come up with an ingenious solution to help our homes and planet.

They have four different Starter Sets to clean a wide variety of items. In it you’ll receive a 32oz reusable bottle, reusable spray nozzle, and cleaning solution. Their system is that you’ll reuse these items and buy more cleaning solution which is delivered in small recyclable capsules. You’ll need to fill up the bottle with your own water as well. What’s great about this is that it helps lower their product and shipping costs as well as environmental impact. The starter set costs $12.99 while the refill set which includes 2 cleaning capsules costs $9.99.

Twist the cleaning capsule on top of the bottle and the cleaning solution oozes out. The cleaning solutions are VOC Free, Phosphate Free, Ammonia Free, 2-butoxyethnaol Free, and Chlorine Free.

Each set is color coordinated to help you know which product you’re using. Bathroom Tub & Tile Cleaner is pink. Glass & Multi Surface Cleaner is blue. Odor Eliminator & All-Purpose Cleaner is green. Kitchen Cleaner & Degreaser is yellow. Each contains a unique and very faint smell.

I cleaned my stove, glass shower doors, sink, and bathtub. I’d say they performed exactly as any other cleaning product. So it’s a no-brainer not to use Good Green Cleaner.

CRYSTAL Mineral-Enriched Deodorant Freshly Minted Review

Putting harsh chemical products on our skin never sounds like a good idea. For 35 years CRYSTAL has been formulating its deodorants with clean ingredients that are free of aluminum, parabens, silicones, phthalates, and artificial fragrances and colors.

I’ve tried other natural deodorants and sometimes they leave a lot to be desired. They either don’t last long, have bad smells, or make you feel like you haven’t put any deodorant on at all.

CRYSTAL says their Mineral-Enriched Deodorant Freshly Minted lasts 24 hours. I tried it myself and I have to agree. The minute I applied it I felt a cool lubricated feeling, which seemed to last for hours. The next day came around and I still didn’t feel sticky nor smell awful.

The Freshly Minted scent is inspired by the scent of freshly minted money. I’d describe the scent as similar to shaving cream. The deodorant bar is white so I was afraid it would leave a mark. Thankfully there weren’t any flakes on my skin or unsightly white marks.

As a guy it’s hard to hold in the sweat and smell, but CRYSTAL Mineral-Enriched Deodorant Freshly Minted held up to the task.
