The Dorms Summer Edition

Funny enough, we never made The Dorms episode 2. After the successful first episode and the “want” to do more episodes, things caved in. Over the summer David Corwin and I went ahead and tried our hands making a spin-off to The Dorms called The Dorms Summer Edition. It failed. We never released it to the public because it was just so bad.

Having 3 people work from cameramen to actors to writers is not a good idea – especially when none of them are directly studying film. What a fiasco.

I’ve warned you ahead of time that the summer edition is a crappy spin-off, as all spin-offs are.

Enjoy.

50,000 views for our crappy video

Talk about not understanding why a video has so many views, our Next-Generation of Heroes Season 2 teaser trailer reached 50,000 views on YouTube today. This 10 second video is crap at its best. Why oh why does this get 50,000 views when Gazmo has yet to break 1,000? 😉

StuffWeLike’s New video

We’re finalizing a new comedy video. Here’s a behind the scenes picture. One can only begin to guess what we’re doing and how it related to the video… We’re going to try and have a launch party tonight and release it either later tonight or tomorrow.

Stay tuned!

Gazmo & Friends

[Update: The video is called Gazmo & Friends and can be viewed here.]

Christian Bale is John Connor

AintItCool.com is reporting that Christian Bale (Batman Begins) is going to be the new John Conner in the fourth installment of The Terminator saga. Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is set to be released in 2009.

Since Bale’s attached we know it’ll be one metal rocking of a movie!

Jeff Gerstmann

After 10 years of loyal service GameSpot editor Jeff Gerstmann has been fired. Currently there are only rumors circulating around as to why GameSpot let him off. I’ve watched Jeff for years and he is the guy that I think of when I think of GameSpot.

On November 16, Jeff gave Kane & Lynch a 6 out of 10. GameSpot’s review system calls this “fair.” Apparently Eidos didn’t want to advertise on Gamespot’s website because of this review. The website Rock Paper Shotgun said that this was the last reason to fire him.

If this is the reason alone, I will ditch GameSpot until they publically appoligize for firing a truthful employee. Kane & Lynch deserves a 6/10, I’ve played it, it’s a crappy game. There’s no reason to support a company that lies to its consumers to appease it’s advertisers.

StuffWeLike wishes Jeff Gerstmann the best. Maybe he’ll start his own video game review website. We can only wish.
