Currently this redesign has only been announced for Europe, but if you can spot the differences between this version of the Nintendo Wii and its original design, I’ll give you a cookie.
Sadly the Gamecube backwards compatibility has been dropped in this redesign. No new features have been added to the console itself. It’s just smaller.
It would be cool if they built wii motion plus into the actual controllers so we don’t have to connect the accessory to our remote and make it annoyingly bad and uncomfortable to hold, but I don’t think they are going to do that personally I think they have made this console so that it is impossible to hack with the homebrew channel because they haven’t announced any new features and if they said it was un-hackable they would lose a lot of money as the people who do hack just wouldn’t buy it but that’s just my opinion I’m equally as baffled as everyone else as to how this is a re-design if anything it seems like a step backwards without the compatibility of gamecube games
