Three years ago, I saw a live taping of the second episode of The Big Bang Theory and have been hooked ever since. The title of the episode is “The Big Bran Hypothesis,” and being there for the taping was a memorable experience. Of course, this was when the series wasn’t even on TV yet so it was easier to get in to see a taping.
It’s a little harder now. The popularity of the series has only led to a spike in audience numbers at live tapings. The line in the parking structure at Warner Bros. to get into the show is huge, and you have to get there two to three hours before you’re seated just to have a shot.
Oh, and make sure you have your free ticket when you go from www.tvtickets.com.
The Big Bang Theory is a clever, hilarious, and zany series that harkens back to when sitcoms had one purpose: to make you laugh your ass off! And that’s exactly what Big Bang does week after week. This is one of the best and funniest shows on TV and it just keeps getting better.
The cast is superb, the writing top-notch, and the laughs continue to come as Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Raj, and Howard deliver some classic comedy moments. Congrats to Jim Parsons who plays Sheldon for his Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
I highly recommend The Big Bang Theory to fans of sitcoms, and for anyone looking for a show that offers up plenty of laughs and gags anytime you tune in.
The Blu-ray special features include: Takeout with the Cast of The Big Bang Theory; Set Tour with Simon (Howard) and Kunal (Raj); and a Gag Reel.
