How the Earth Was Made delves into the evolution and transformation our planet has gone through over the past hundreds of millions of years. Every structure, land mass, mountain, biome, and ocean has a story to tell, and this series sets out to explore just how these Earth elements came into being.
Each episode focuses on one particular aspect of the Earth’s creation, and explores the what, where, why, and how related to it (I’ll let you decide if there was a who involved for yourself). With the help of experts in the fields of geology, archaeology, meteorology, and history, each topic is carefully examined and the results are fascinating and at time surprising. I love shows like this!
The History Channel continues to deliver quality programs that pique viewers’ interest and curiosity on a multitude of subjects, and the second season of How the Earth Was Made continues that tradition of quality. Each new episode draws you in and takes you on a journey into the creation of the world we most of the time take for granted.
How the Earth Was Made: The Complete Season Two includes the following 13 episodes: Grand Canyon; Vesuvius; Birth of the Earth; Sahara; Yosemite; Rockies; Ring of Fire; Everest; Death Valley; Mt. St. Helens; Earth’s Deadliest Eruptions; America’s Ice Age; and America’s Gold.
