The Los Angeles times has released a piece of Halo related news for Comic-Con a little early. They revealed, though Microsoft’s new Halo focused 343 industries, a Gotham Knights-like anime styled mini-series will be released in early 2010.
The production is being directed by Shinji Aramaki, director of the 3D anime movie Appleseed and it’s sequel Appleseed Ex Machina. The seven animated shorts will be made by the anime studios Bones(the Cowboy Bebop movie), Casio Entertainment, Production I.G.(Ghost in the Shell), Studio4°C(Transformers Animated), and Toei Animation(just about every other anime series ever).
The project, now titled Halo Legends, will feature seven stories all written and drawn in the styles of the studio that is making the short. While only two pictures have been shown thus far, a trailer for the project will be shown at Comic-Con.
