In relation to The Dark Knight movie we covered a story way back at the beginning of the year about how IMDB let the ending of The Dark Knight leak in a news story. For those of us who covered the story knowing a part of the ending was a real pain when watching the movie.
We can even guess how he would have been reintroduced during the next movie in the series as it would make sense taking prior Batman incarnations into account. After the end of Dark Knight he would have been taken into Arkham nuthouse where all Batman’s enemies are kept and then at the beginning of the next movie he would break out with the assistance of the new villain. Having the joker work as his sidekick, in a way.
We have had a huge response to our old is GTA the end of PC gaming article and new things have come up. In the newest event the ESRB listed on their ratings website that Grand Theft Auto IV would be receiving an M for Mature rating on the Windows PC in addition to the 360 and PS3 versions already in existence. Having the ESRB leak that a game is to come out on PC is not a surprise at all with several titles over the years all being leaked/announced via ESRB.
Rockstar haven’t issued a denial at time of press although normally they share the same default setting in terms of statements as Microsoft with a “no comment” being the standard even if the rumours are true. If GTA4 does come out on the PC it won’t be unexpected but it would be welcome just as long as a supercomputer is not required to run it at a good enough graphical setting to make things interesting.
It’s as if nothing is kept secret anymore. The comic book conversion of Watchmen
to a movie has been in the works since last year. What most didn’t know was that
the first trailer was supposed to be attached to The Dark Knight in theatres.
Instead of being available as a cinema exclusive for a while someone at Empire
put the trailer online early by accident. Even though the one day early leak
only lasted for 2 minutes 30 seconds or so the trailer is now all over the net.
Available almost anywhere in an odd format for HD video, .flv the trailer is among
one of the most impressive around for quite a while. Certainly a lot better than
the “eh, ok” Terminator 4 trailer from yesterday.
