Website Update

I realized today that the website’s registration and login links weren’t that easy to find. Also due to the blog and the forum using the same user account information I realized an easy fix to this issue. Previously users could only register on the front page of the blog, but now that has been changed to literally any page as long as the top frame is present.

Right under the button Larger Player there’s two new buttons – Register and Login. So now you have no excuse not to create an account on StuffWeLike.com and join the community!

Hitman The Movie – Now in Production

20th Century Fox appears to be the studio behind it. Check out the fulll press release in The Pipeline under the News section!

God I love video game based movies! It’ll be interesting to see how this one turns out. As long as it’s better than BloodRayne we have a winner!

Here’s an excerpt:
The game’s story centers around an international assassin known only as Agent 47 (Olyphant) who works for a mysterious organization dubbed the Agency. The Hitman videogames have sold in excess of 6 million units worldwide, with the most recent instalment, Hitman: Blood Money selling 1.4 million units worldwide and reaching No.1 in all key territories.

The movie is being directed by Xavier Gens from a screenplay by Skip Woods (Swordfish) and produced by Luc Besson, Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Adrian Askarieh and Charles Gordon with Daniel Alter as a co-producer.

Singing rabbits and crying babies.

I was watching Rat Race on Comedy Central, good movie, not the point. During a break they showed a commercial about a guy trading a singing rabbit for some skittles. I’m wondering to myself “WHY?!” I’m a child of the 80s, a decade when not much was normal either way, but I do remember when I was growing up that we did, at one point, have normal commercials. Now we have commercials that don’t even have to do the product itself. Singing Rabbits, Crying plastic babies(PS3 commercial), and a Fu-Manchu type character saying something I cannot remember at this time. WHY?!

Show a funny situation with your product. Kick someone in the nuts then pour Doritos on him, not that difficult. Forgo the prosthetics, and the animatronics. Just give us something to laugh at. something that looks really good, or even a hot chick using the product. We don’t need these inane commercials that barely make sense. Hell, I’ve even avoided eating at Quiznos for years because of those damn Spongemonkies commercials they used to run.

We don’t need crying babies and singing rabbits.
