Alvin and the Chipmunks

Alvin and the Chipmunks

I laugh because that’s all I can do. Yes they’re back. Alvin and the Chipmunks with Jason Lee! Pure awesomeness. Apparently the chipmunks are thugs. I guess that makes sense considering in the original they wore long shirts anyways. I can only imagine what this movie will be about and that’s hilarious.

Of course this movie will most likely blow.

The L33tstr33t Boys

2 East Music

More video game parodies to laugh at. This time The L33tstr33t Boys are here… Yeah The L33tstr33t Boys. I can barely spell that, but don’t worry their lyrics are worthwhile. The L33tstr33t Boys were formed by 2EastMusic, composer of The Legend of Zelda: Lost video parodies.

The L33tstr33t Boys is actually a side project of 2EastMusic, but if you want to hear more songs in the future – go ahead and spam them or comment in this post. Basically spread the word and The L33tstr33t Boys will be back.[Update]

I’ve just been informed that Matt, the creator of this band, will be performing at the ConnectiCon 2007 on Friday, July 13th at 6:30pm. The concert emphasizes interactivity including audience participation games, multimedia, songwriting workshop showcase, and a satirical all-gamer boyband. Also performing with Matt are Vic Mignogna, voice of Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, and interactive audio legacy George “The Fat Man” Sanger.

At 1pm he’ll also be hosting the Anime Songwriting Workshop, which introduces non-songwriters to the process of writing pop songs through improvisation, interactive analysis, and offering opportunities to be involved with the studio production. Both Vic Mignogna and George Sanger will be attending the workshop as well!

ConnectiCon will be held the weekend of July 13-15, 2007 at the Connecticut Convention Center on Columbus Blvd in Hartford, CT.

Who wants to eat at GameWorks?!

GameWorks

I’m sure that’s the question that all American families go through… I know it’s a tough decision but apparently Sega wants people to eat at its arcades… Read on for the full press release.

Sega Entertainment USA, Inc. is ready to compete in the casual dining arena. The company, which operates five different restaurant concepts nationally inside its GameWorks chain of entertainment locations, is confident that their restaurants can compete with other casual dining establishments. What is their edge? According to Clint Manny, Senior Vice President of Marketing, the answer is simply, “More.”

“We offer more than the typical restaurant,” stated Manny. “We know that our restaurant experience and food quality compete with those in traditional casual dining, but we truly offer our guests more. Take the guest experience at any other casual dining competitor, it’s a drink, an appetizer, a meal, dessert (maybe) and out the door…… with great restaurants, bars, entertainment, sports viewing and interactive games and attractions that can’t be duplicated at home, we give guests more of everything they want – and they won’t have to leave to get it. We will succeed by providing excellent food quality, delivering exciting new food and beverage programs, unique entertainment and establishing in consumer minds that more is better at the Grill in GameWorks.”

Dallas Woman Tries to Buy Out AT&T iPhone Stock – and more stories continue…

iPhone

Rather than camping out, a woman buys her way to the front of the line for $800. She wanted to buy all the stock a local AT&T had of the iPhone. She didn’t realize that the store had a limited supply of only 1 per customer! So in the end theguy at the front of the line still was able to buy his own iPhone and save some easy earned money.

Click here to watch the video.

This is absolutely the best story ever. I’m glad this woman didn’t get her way.

But this wasn’t the only incident with the iPhone… a man has already dropped the iPhone – thankfully it was caught on camera. Sure people are smashing the technology to pieces, but we don’t support stuff like that. So what I present to you is a collection of parodies of the iPhone.

By the way, I celebrated the launch of the iPhone by installing Windows Vista. It only took me 3 hours to get everything up and running.
