Terms of Use
The Pipeline media player by StuffWeLike.com
StuffWeLike will update this Terms of Use Agreement and will make notification of update via its blog.
The content uploaded by StuffWeLike.com onto its player The Pipeline, is targeted towards general audiences. At no time will StuffWeLike upload inappropriate materials: obscene, defamatory, violent, or infringing of others’ rights, etc.
The Pipeline includes RSS feeds from other content publishers. StuffWeLike does not control the content published by these creators. If content proves to be consistently inappropriate the RSS feed will be removed. If content publisher does not wish that their RSS feed be syndicated on The Pipeline, the RSS feed will be removed.
The technology behind The Pipeline was created by SplashCast. All content has been uploaded by StuffWeLike unless otherwise noted. The Pipeline gathers data on how users interact with its shows: ie how long a user is watching the player content, what show the user is watching, etc. The Pipeline is not ad-ware, spyware, or malware.
You may embed The Pipeline on your website free of charge. When StuffWeLike updates the player, the player on your website will be automatically updated as well. This is also occurs if an individual show created by StuffWeLike appears on your own Splashcast player. You do not have control over the content in The Pipeline or its shows. You can however choose which show, or Channel Guide, that The Pipeline starts on.
Anyone can write and/or record both video and audio comments for show items. Comments will be deleted if content is deemed unsuitable. To write a comment, you do not have to have a registered account with StuffWeLike, The Pipeline or Splashcast.
Some shows can include user generated content. These can be video or pictures uploaded via email or mobile devices. UGC will be deleted if content is deemed unsuitable. To submit content, you do not have to have a registered account with StuffWeLike, The Pipeline or Splashcast.
Sometime in 2008, The Pipeline will contain unobtrusive advertisements. A pyramid scheme will be available for anyone to make money syndicating The Pipeline shows. More information will be made available to the public when these advertisements roll-out.
