Our coverage of Red Alert 3 thus far includes sexy women in skin tight leather with big guns. Now it includes Tim Curry and a bunch of other “well known” actors. The latest trailer for Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, looks to be like a high budget hilarious B movie! Time travel, Soviets vs. Allies, Albert Einstein - what more could you be asking for?!
This is pure awesomeness at its best. I’m so thrilled that EA seems to understand the Command & Conquer series for once! C&C Generals was a lame. C&C 3 brought the series back to its roots. C&C Red Alert 3 will explode into the glorious game of the year tier.
In one of those really funny turns of events showing who’s boss Microsoft has stopped Halo makers Bungie from announcing a new Halo title at this months E3.
According to GameRush, Bungie had a full 60-second trailer ready to go and be shown at the Microsoft keynote address right at the end but was told at the last minute it’s not to be shown. Bungie revealing it’s new Halo title at E3 is one of the webs worst secrets, specially with the constant comments coming from various sources for the last month before the show.
The lack of new information however is a disappointment. Especially with the teasing of a trailer for the new title, but considering how Halo Wars had a trailer release and still is not around perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Think of it this way, being desperate to see something is less likely to happen if you don’t know it exists. Even with the cool Halo Wars trailer the recent videos showing the game in action have hardly been incredible, looking like an extremely average PC RTS.
We will be sure to hear more about this soon, probably when Sony is just about to announce a new title and Microsoft needs an ace in the hole to distract from it. Much like Nvidia’s price drops during ATI card releases.
It’s as if nothing is kept secret anymore. The comic book conversion of Watchmen
to a movie has been in the works since last year. What most didn’t know was that
the first trailer was supposed to be attached to The Dark Knight in theatres.
Instead of being available as a cinema exclusive for a while someone at Empire
put the trailer online early by accident. Even though the one day early leak
only lasted for 2 minutes 30 seconds or so the trailer is now all over the net.
Available almost anywhere in an odd format for HD video, .flv the trailer is among
one of the most impressive around for quite a while. Certainly a lot better than
the “eh, ok” Terminator 4 trailer from yesterday.
To answer the two questions which might come around after you see the trailer
we will help you out.
1) What’s the name of the song used in the trailer? Smashing Pumpkins - The end is the beginning.
2) What is the release date? March 2009.
What this means for you? A quick google search (AICN) to see a truely awesome trailer
for a movie known up to now only to comicbook guy and his buddies.
Fans of Batman can celebrate as those who have been waiting
for what has felt a lifetime has resulted in the announcement
of another trailer to be released this coming Sunday.
Considering the number of false starts with viral campaigns
and assumed trailers having an actual trailer site appear is
something of a relief. The most recent viral had people all
over the world asking for bowling balls at their local bowling
alley to get a free mobile phone and promo package.
We, just like the rest of the world will be watching in glorious
HD on Sunday with great interest. For those who want everything
now a bootleg youtube copy with horrible picture quality is available
already taken from a cinema.
In a shock announcement from Universal Pictures the trailer for the sequel movie will be online later today Thurs 20th at noon PST/3pm EST. That’s about 8pm for the UK & Ireland.
