This is Oscar

Well, according to Spock.com, about 6 million users care.

That’s how many voted for their 2008 Oscar “People’s Choice” selections. According to Spock, the following will be taking away the little Oscar statuettes on Sunday evening:

Best Actor: Johnny Depp in “Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”
Best Supporting Actor: Tom Wilkinson in “Michael Clayton”
Best Actress: Ellen Page in “Juno”
Best Supporting Actress: Ruby Dee in “American Gangster”
Best Director: Paul Thomas Anderson for “There Will Be Blood”

Compare that list with ROGER EBERT’S choices:

Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis in “There Will Be Blood”
Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem in “No Country for Old Men”
Best Actress: Ellen Page in “Juno”
Best Supporting Actress: Ruby Dee in “American Gangster”
Best Director: Joel and Ethan Coen for “No Country for Old Men”

Who do you think will win?

Tune in to the 80th Academy Awards, Sunday February 24th.
