When Sony said they wanted to make the PSP and the Playstation 3 vital parts of the media hub they weren’t kidding.
Sony and Sky have launched a video download service called GO! View offering sports, films and range of Sky TV shows for the PSP, video-on-demand stylee. It’s the portable console’s first official video download service in Europe.

It had tech-fanatics going at each other, had two major games consoles squaring up and even had Hollywood studios scratching their heads, but now the hi-def format war is over with Blu-Ray coming out on top.
The Tosh announced today they were planning to halt production, but would still give technical support to those with HD-DVD players and discs.
The result is hardly a surprise given that Warner Bros and most recently Best Buy and Wal Mart had given up on HD-DVD.
This could affect the console war too.
Sony’s Playstation 3 is now the most affordable Blu-Ray player around, and since Blu-Ray is now the sole high-definition format- this could increase PS3 sales.
Roll on the next tech-war.
One thing we know for sure about sunglasses is they look cool. They also make some people look cooler than they might be. Just pop a pair of shades on anyone and presto-they take on a new-found coolness that we just can’t get from our peepers.
But looking at these Folding Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses has made me wonder; are sun-goggles that fold away still as cool?

If you ever thought there’s such a thing as a good movie based game, don’t watch this video! It’s not that I hate this game’s publisher Sierra/Vivendi Games, it’s that I worked for them, and they really do suck.
I would love for this Ghostbusters game to be a blast, but this early gameplay footage is just that EARLY footage. Hopefully Vivendi will spend their entire profit earnings from World of Warcraft on this new Ghostbusters game and create something that fans have been waiting for 20 years.
