With HD-DVD loosing the format war against its Sony backed Blu-ray competitor the net has been filled with stories about how Microsoft is planning to release a Blu-ray add-on player for the 360 to replace the failed HD add-on.

Microsoft product manager Aaron Greenberg has told Reuters “Xbox is not currently in talks with Sony or the Blu-ray Association to integrate Blu-ray into the Xbox experience”. Hopefully this should put an end to all those stories for at least a week before they come around again.

In EMEA Territories a Legacy Edition of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 will be released next month for 360. The difference between this and the original version is in inclusion of an additional disc containing all the downloadable content available on Live to date.
