Major movie star Matt Damon was approached to voice
and provide his likeness to the new Sierra Bourne game.
Apparently though he saw the games violence and pulled
out. For a man who makes his money showing people how
to kill other people it appears as though it’s a “do as I say,
not as I do” attitude coming from Hollywood’s new Mr Gritty Action.

Uwe Boll’s hateful video that faced heavy YouTube competition from teenage rants has apparently not gone very unnoticed. Michael Bay responded on his official forum, saying:

I find people who rant like that - calling shit about both me, and George Clooney - comes from someone screaming because he is not being heard. He is obviously a sad being.

When you ask “do I care”? Not in the slightest.

Eli Roth, also insulted by Boll has supposedly responded saying that it was the “greatest compliment ever”. No news available about George Clooney, also insulted in a German accent.

Uwe Boll once again proves that he can accomplish the impossible, by insulting Hollywood people like Michael Bay and George Clooney, counter the anti-Boll petition, appear confused and speak in a beautiful German accent all at the same time.

 After years of wondering why we have never seen frequent straight to DVD actor Christian Slater in a TV show (apart from an appearance in My name is Earl) it looks like an answer to the question has arrived. According to sources who have spoken to the Hollywood Reporter NBC is said to be on the fence about ordering a “Bourne Identity” meets “Jekyll & Hyde” type show starring Slater as a suburban dad who learns that his alter ego is a spy.

 

After a shock renewal for an 8th season Smallville is to loose two of its four original cast members. Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) and Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) will no longer be season regulars but will be guest stars only. While cast changes happen often in Smallville the real issue is the loss of Lex Luthor. While he will be there every so often not having the main bad guy, indeed Superman’s nemesis in the show will certainly hurt story lines and ratings which have both been on the decline.

In our last post, we found Variety alleging that Rockstar almost yes to a movie project based on the GTA franchise, that was starring none other than Eminem. The project supposedly got cancelled at the last moment, saving millions of innocents like us from cinematic torture.

Variety, on their new video game blog have revealed that there were actually plans to make a GTA movie; a revelation quite horrid in itself. But even worse, Eminem was planned to be cast in it, probably because of his spectacular performance in 8 Mile and his utterly brilliant singing and rapping abilities.
