Cheaters on the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 are in for a tough time as a tweet from fourzerotwo states that 2500 players will be banned for using cheats in the game. Steam is known to pretty unforgiving when it comes to using cheats and hacks, so this doesn’t come across as a major surprise.

Still, if you’ve been thinking of using cheats on your multiplayer action, you’d best be careful. If you’re cheating to protest the game’s lack of dedicated server support, however, carry on.
