The sequel to last years surprise hit, Dead Space will be coming out next year, according to Reuters’ report on horror video game sales. Wait, that’s news?

Actually, it is. While we knew that a sequel to Dead Space was in the works (aren’t we smart?), we didn’t know any details about it, nor did we know when it will come out. This comes across as the first (unofficial) indication of the game’s release date, and it looks like we’ll be fighting necromorphs once again next year!

Now something about Mirror’s Edge 2, anyone?
