Skate
It’s not really a huge surprise that EA is making another Skate game. The game has consistently received critical praise compared to its main competitor, the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. Its extremely unique controls and emphasis on physics have been a breath of fresh air of recent skating games.

Skate 3 will have a new motto, “Team Up. Throw Down,” showing more emphasis on community based features within the new game. New team-based challenges against other Skate crews will be featured in the game. The game is expected to be released in May 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

This is going to be the third game(fourth with the Wii release) in the series since it came out in 2007. I’m slightly worried about EA’s Madden-esque approach to the series, but hopefully they can pull off a great consistency.
