The coverage of Modern Warfare 2’s crazy limited edition has been pretty wide ever since it was announced. Undoubtedly because of this pre-sales have been high. This is exceptionally evident by Infinity ward’s latest statement about their see-in-the-dark special edition.
A recent interview with IGN has said that the illuminating collector’s edition will not go the way of the Halo 3 Legendary edition in so many words. According to Robert Bowling from Infinity Ward there will be only one set of the individually numbered Prestige edition produced.
There has been requests from retailers for more to be produced, but Infinity Ward has chosen not to comply. So if you want to buy a pair of disturbingly cheap night-vision goggles, and want a video game with it, pre-order it now.
