Sony America President reveals that their new Motion Controller might be retro-compatible with older games.
Talking to CNBC, SCEA President Jack Tretton says that the in-development Sony Motion Controller just may be compatible with every PS3 game ever.
[But] I think our [motion] controller can be used with every game that’s on the system now — and every game we’re working on.”
Do does that mean we could see updates released for existing games to make them compatible with the new controller?
”I think that’s absolutely conceivable,” says Tretton.
This sounds great, but note that this is not a 100% confirmation. Tretton thinks it’s conceivable. But this would definitely be a great move by Sony, if possible.
