Watchmen - Watch the trailer online a full day early.

It’s as if nothing is kept secret anymore. The comic book conversion of Watchmen
to a movie has been in the works since last year. What most didn’t know was that
the first trailer was supposed to be attached to The Dark Knight in theatres.
Instead of being available as a cinema exclusive for a while someone at Empire
put the trailer online early by accident. Even though the one day early leak
only lasted for 2 minutes 30 seconds or so the trailer is now all over the net.
Available almost anywhere in an odd format for HD video, .flv the trailer is among
one of the most impressive around for quite a while. Certainly a lot better than
the “eh, ok” Terminator 4 trailer from yesterday.
To answer the two questions which might come around after you see the trailer
we will help you out.
1) What’s the name of the song used in the trailer? Smashing Pumpkins - The end is the beginning.
2) What is the release date? March 2009.
What this means for you? A quick google search (AICN) to see a truely awesome trailer
for a movie known up to now only to comicbook guy and his buddies.

I don’t think that was better than T4. I don’t know much about Watchmen but that didn’t make me excited for it.

[...] As Ted notes, the first Watchmen trailer went online today, and it looks fantastic. Every scene looks faithful to the original graphic novel, which is a relief… for now. Pretty much all the major heroes were seen in the trailer, from Rorshach to Ozymandias to Dr. Manhattan to everyone’s favourite, the Comedian. [...]
